Mid-range professional graphics card roundup

Those interesting in CAD/CAM applications can head over to X-bit Labs for a roundup of mid-range ATI FireGL and NVIDIA Quadro FX graphics cards:
Time has come for us to witness another round between professional graphics cards currently offered by AMD and Nvidia companies. We tested contemporary professional solutions from ATI FireGL and Nvidia Quadro FX series in CAD/CAM applications. It was also interesting to see what a popular gaming graphics card can do in the same type of applications.
Check it out over here. The author doesn't recommend any particular professional graphic accelerator at this time but notes that NVIDIA wins in SolidWorks and 3ds max while ATI is strong in Maya and AutoCAD.
