LG launched the new 22" Flatron W2252TE LCD display, claiming this new model uses 45 percent less power than other 22" displays:
Specs are said to be unaffected by the green glow with a 10,000:1 DFC, 2ms response time, 170 degree viewing angle, resolution of 1680 x 1050, but frankly not great 250cd brightness.

Fiona Landsberg, marketing manager, LG Electronics, says, "The W2252TE gives consumers the chance to work, play games, watch movies or surf the internet, safe in the knowledge that they are doing as much as possible to help reduce their impact on the environment".
The display will be available in the UK in August. Pricing and availability in the rest of the world is unknown.
