Biostar proudly announced an overclocker has broken the FSB World Record with 725MHz using their TPower I45 motherboard:
BIOSTAR Microtech Int'l Corp., a professional manufacturer of motherboards announces that a well-known overclocker nicknamed Youngpro broke FSB world record with 725MHz using TPower I45 Motherboard. Youngpro, who is based in Australia, first reached 685MHz, but then trumped his own record by using LN2 and broke the FSB world record by climbing to as high as 725MHz. He also managed to get his CPU up and running at a stunning 6GHz frequency.
You can check out a screenshot and validation of CPU-Z over here. The Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 ran at 5074.24MHz (724.89 x 7).
At the same time, other overclockers worldwide use TPower I45 to challenge O.C. limitation targeting current world record. Such as Belgian Pt1t , who was the first to reach FSB 645MHz with air-cooling, but then he lowered the temperature and reached respectable FSB 675MHz and a peak clock of 6GHz with one core enabled.
