The Radeon HD 4850 has 512MB of GDDR3 memory set to 1986 MHz, 800 Stream Processors and a GPU clocked at 625 MHz while the HD 4870 can say it's equipped with 3600 MHz-clocked 512MB of GDDR5 memory and a GPU with a frequency of 750 MHz.
