FUD Zilla found out OCZ will release a couple of affordable solid state disks next week.

These drives use SLC memory, they're all 2.5-inchers with a Serial ATA II interface and you can choose between 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. The drives are shock resistant to 1500G and have read speeds of 120MB/s to 143MB/s and write speeds of 80MB/s to 93MB/s.

German etailers are listing the 32GB drive for 149EUR, 64GB for 229EUR and 128GB will set you back 399EUR. Solid state disks are definitely getting more affordable but it's still not cheap considering you can get hard drives with a capacity of 1TB for way less than 200EUR.
