AMD 790GX chipset is 33 percent faster than 780G

Some leaked slides that unveil the new features and the performance of the upcoming AMD 790GX chipset found their way to Chile Hardware. AMD says this new chip is 33 percent faster than the 780G and the slides show big performance gains over the NVIDIA GeForce 8200 and Intel G35 IGP chipsets but what else would you expect from slides that come from AMD's PR department?



Besides improved DX10 IGP gaming the 790GX also offers CrossFire X, Hybrid CrossFire, high quality Full HD video processing, AMD OverDrive, RAID 5, the SB750 southbridge, dynamic power savings and Deep Sleep support.
