The first batch of GeForce 9800 GTX+ graphics cards will retail for around 199EUR (incl. VAT) in Europe but according to FUD Zilla the price will quickly drop to 149EUR which will make the card much more competitive to the Radeon HD 4800 series from AMD.
The first batch should be selling around €200+ in European Etail including 20 percent VAT.

After a bit higher prices at launch they will sink down in a few weeks. This will put much more pressure on Radeon HD 4870 and 4850 and will probably force ATI to move the prices down.

Radeon HD 4870 is hard to get but welling well while Radeon HD 4850 is available and also selling well, but not as well as the 4870.
