Shuttle mini-PC Barebone for AMD AM2+ processors

Posted on Thursday, July 24 2008 @ 00:00:25 CEST by

Shuttle presents a new mini-PC solution for AMD AM2+ processors. Working on the basis of the NVIDIA GeForce 8200 chip set, this Barebone is suitable for the newest "Phenom" CPU generation.
Audiophiles will enjoy the high quality 8-channel sound chip with DTS Connect and Dolby Digital Live! certification. Sound can be digitally transmitted via optical SPDIF socket.

The integrated DirectX-10-compatible NVIDIA GeForce 8200 graphics card accelerates high resolution HD videos while at the same time relieving the processor. The rear HDMI-1.3 connection with HDCP copy protection issues picture and sound without a quality loss. The high level graphic performance also promises a lot of gaming fun with current 3D games. For even enhanced 3D performance, the PCI Express 2.0 slot can be equipped with a separate graphics card.

A highly effective 300 watt 80 PLUS power supply reliably provides the mini-PC with power. The automatic fan speed control system of the maintenance-free heat pipe consistently maintains the temperature in the housing at a stable and safe level. Solid capacitors on the mainboard ensure long life.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SN78SH7 is available now. Shuttle's recommended retail price is EUR 284 (without VAT).
