ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 microstuttering investigated

German PC site PC Games Hardware investigated if the new Radeon HD 4870 X2 dual-GPU graphics card is still plagued by microstuttering issues. The site tested the card in Half-Life 2: Episode 2 with the Fakefactory Cinematic Mod 8 at high quality settings and found microstuttering is still a problem with the 4870 X2. The site also published a Crysis video that illustrates the issue.
