Expreview published a slide that unveils AMD's desktop mainstream platform plans for 2008-2010. The information seems a bit outdated or incomplete as it places the "R700 generation" in the 2009 timeframe but has some new snips of information. For instance, the slide learns us that the AMD SB800 southbridge will support SATA 6Gb/s with FIS based switching.
