OCZ opens online outlet store

OCZ informed us they've opened an online outlet store called "OCZ Gear". The online store will be used for clearance, end-of-life (EOL) products and refurbished items.
OCZ Technology Group, a worldwide leader in innovative, ultra high performance and high reliability memory and components, today announced the expansion of its product availability through its new online store. The “OCZ Gear” site will give customers the option to directly purchase select OCZ items, with the added benefit of top notch customer service and support as the driving force behind every order.

“We are excited to introduce the OCZ Gear online store which will sell special clearance and B-Stock products direct to our customers,” commented Ryan Edwards, Director of Product Management of the OCZ Technology Group. “OCZ Gear is simply another way for us to better support our customer’s needs. The majority of products listed are clearance items and those that are re-certified will be clearly marked.”

The OCZ Gear store will feature a selection of their many product lines, including those that have become scarce in the retail channel, such as End of Life items that are still actively sought out by the enthusiast and gamer communities. Clearance items will also be available, along with re-certified and open-box items that have been fully tested and guaranteed under the industry leading warranty program. For the first time ever, OCZ promotional materials such as shirts, posters, and other swag will be offered to buy as well.
