AMD Ultra Value Platform to compete with Intel's Atom

Chile Hardware got their hands on some details of AMD's answer to the Intel Atom processor platform. Though I don't think Intel will need to worry as these two new low-power Athlon processors use significantly more power than an Atom processor:
1 Cost optimized solution: Low power processor enable new form factors and a lower Bill of Materials

2 The PC experience users Expect: More than Nettops and Netbooks, AMD UVC offers traditional PC performance, it will be paired with AMD 690 or AMD 740 chipset for a high quality visual experience

3 Standard platform infrastructures: The 2 CPUs that are part of UVC use socket s1g1 for notebooks and AM2 for desktops, this enables a better time to market and lower development costs
