What Laptop published the first shots of Samsung's upcoming netbook. The netbook features a 10.2" display and should be available by the end of October. The system will feature the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB memory, a 2.5" HDD (probably 80 or 120GB?) and Windows XP. The model has a 6-cell battery, that should result in a battery life of more than five hours.
In order to fit as large a keyboard as possible on the Netbook, you won’t find any superfluous media keys. Instead, the power button is positioned on the side of the Netbook, along with VGA-out, audio and a USB port. The other side sports Ethernet, power input and two more USB ports.

The Samsung netbook will be available in white, black and blue.
