Lower Your Radeon Video Card Temps Without Spending a Penny

While researching HD 4850 card prices at NewEgg for a review, a line on a user review caught my eye: "after I did the fan speed mod in CCC.". Huh? Fan speed mod? "The" fan speed mod? Hmmm..someone knows something that I don't. Gotta check this out! After a quick Google, I found out that the fan speeds in Catalyst could be very low, even so low that the fan is spinning just enough to say it is on. There is a fix for this, a band-aid until ATI fixes the problem, but a fix nonetheless.
