ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2 - cheaper and faster than GeForce GTX 280?

Turkish hardware site Donanim Haber got their hands on some slides that detail AMD's upcoming ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2 graphics card. he slides unveil the card will be priced at $399 and suggest it will be 10-30% faster in benchmarks.

The Radeon HD 4850 X2 should be available later this month, it will feature 1600 shader processors and a computing power of 2 teraFLOPS. The card will feature a 625MHz core, 2GB GDDR3 memory, 128GB/s memory bandwidth and a TDP of 230W.
