Zotac GeForce GTX 260 with 216 cores launched

Zotac rolled out two new GeForce GTX 260 video cards with 216 shaders. The video card maker claims these 24 additional cores result in performance gains of up to 10 percent in the latest games. They have a GeForce GTX 260² with a 576MHz core, 1242MHz shaders and 1998MHz memory and a GeForce GTX 260 AMP²! Edition with 650MHz core, 1400MHz shaders and 2100MHz memory. Both models feature 896MB GDDR3 memory.
Powered by 2nd Generation NVIDIA Unified Architecture, the 216-processor cores in the enhanced ZOTAC GeForce GTX 260² and GeForce GTX 260 AMP²! Edition deliver greater efficiency with up to 50-percent performance increases over the previous generation architecture for blazing-fast performance and brilliant visuals.
