GPU market still strong

FUD Zilla talked to several people in the graphics industry and heard that so far, the problems on the financial markets haven't affected GPU shipments.
It turns out that so far, the graphics guys haven’t felt any depression in their sales that could be related to the global financial crisis. The graphics market is very seasonal and the sales directly depend from the quality of games that are out and as of today you have Crysis Warhead out which is definitely going to be one of the games that will push sales.

If you are the performance leader in that market, the graphics guys will buy your stuff and as we pointed out many times, if you have the cards with more memory eg. 1GB or even 2GB its is more likely that people will buy that card than the one with 256MB or 512MB.
The site also notes many of NVIDIA cards, including many rebranded parts, are selling well but not as good as ATI's Radeon HD 4000 series.
