Dell S1909WX and S1709W unveiled

Dell rolled out the 19" S1909WX and 17" S1709W LCD displays. Both panels feature a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 1440 x 900 pixel resolution.
The two displays vary widely in image quality and input. The S1909WX is intended for a wide audience and carries a 1,000:1 contrast ratio as well as 300cd/m2 brightness, with an HDCP-supporting DVI input providing video. The S1709W is tailored more to businesses and carries just a VGA connector as well as a more modest 600:1 contrast ratio and 250cd/m2 brightness for its smaller panel.
The S1909WX sells for $199 and the S1709W for $179.
