November marks the release of some very exciting video games, and role-playing fans will no doubt be hanging out for the 11th of November as this is when Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is set to be released in North America. Today we are checking out what kind of rendering power gamers will require in order to play this game in all of its glory...
The good news for Sacred fans is that this latest installment does not require a trillion dollar computer just to run. Using the in-game graphic menu on a 24” LCD, the highest possible quality settings that can be used are the very high settings with 4xAA enabled at 1920x1200. Using these exact settings a Radeon HD 4870 managed 49fps, while a GeForce GTX 260 averaged 47fps. Of course these are not budget graphics cards, but at around $300 US they don’t cost the earth either.
Check it out at Legion Hardware.
