Intel unveiled the "Ibex Peak" chipset will debut as P55 next year. This chip will be rolled out together with Lynnfield and will replace the P45 chipset in Q3 2009:
Ibex peak, now P55, is there to support Lynnfield quad core CPUs and we are quite sure that this one should support Havendale dual core Nehalem's with integrated IGP.

This should be Intel's first single chip chipset that will help take the cost down of the platform. The chipset supports socket 1160 and some technologies including Intel Active Management Technology 6.0, Intel Anti-Theft Technology, Intel Matrix Storage Technology and Intel Remote PC Assist Technology.
