Foxconn Quantum Force Blood Rage X58 motherboard pictured, specced

VR Zone published two photos and the specifications of the upcoming "Blood Rage" Quantum Force X58 motherboard from Foxconn. This X58 motherboard supports Quad CrossFire, 3-way SLI + PhysX, triple channel DDR3 up to 1800MHz (overclocked), 14-phase hybrid PWM and DirectFET MOSFET technology.

The Blood Rage has a 4-in-1 Quantum cooler with modular NB/SB/VRM cooling with interchangeable NB cooling adaptors for air, water or LN2 cooling. The motherboard also has a special BIOS with lots of overclocking options and a QF Panel for in one of your case's 5.25" drive bays for on-the-fly overclocking. Also nice is the included SONAR X-Fi sound card and the SAS support. Pricing is unknown but it sounds pretty expensive.

  • CPU: Intel LGA1366 support, 4 cores, 8 threads, 8MB shared cache IMC, 6.4GT/s QPI bus. Supports VRD 11.1 with 130W TDP.

  • Chipset: Intel X58 and ICH10R

  • Memory: triple channel DDR3 1800 (OC), 1600 (OC), 1333, 1066MHz, 3* DIMMs, 24GB max.

  • Slots: 4x PCIe 2.0 x16 slots with ATI CrossFireX (2x x16 or 4x x8 bandwidth) and NVIDIA 3-way SLI (2x x16 +1 x8 bandwidth + PhysX card support)

  • Storage: SATA RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 (Intel MST), 6x SATA, 2x eSATA, 2x SAS, 12x USB 2.0, 2x FireWire, 1x PATA

  • Networking: Dual Gigabit LAN

  • Audio: SONAR X-Fi audio card with Creative X-Fi technology
