Foxconn Channel may be axed - profit needed in Q2 2009

FUD Zilla claims the Foxconn Channel division has been given an ultimatum, turn profitable before the end of Q2 2009 or get axed. The Foxconn Channel is the division from Foxconn that makes motherboards and graphics cards for consumers.
It's not a lot of time for Foxconn Channel to sort things out, especially not as this division of Foxconn have been plagued by production delays and a whole host of other issues. Hopefully the current restructuring will help improve things, but we wouldn't bet on it.

We're hearing that several teams are being merged to create leaner business units, but when the staff doesn't seem to know what is going on and there being no clear directions from the management, then it's not going to help a whole lot. Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch until the new business units work out who is doing what.
