FUD Zilla writes AMD is planning to debut the 45nm quad-core Deneb processors at CES 2009 in January:
You don't launch a product a few weeks before Xmas and therefore AMD won't show Deneb and launch a small quantity in late November. The launch will take place at CES 2009 in first days of January followed by immediate availability.

Deneb is a desktop version of the core we know as Shanghai with 4x512KB L2 cache and 6MB L3 cache. This CPU is supposed to run at clocks higher than 2.7GHz. Our sources were not conclusive about the exact clocks, but the impression is that Deneb will end up at a higher frequency and that the overclocking of this part on air, will be rather impressive.
