ThermalTake Toughpower XT PSUs to debut at CES

ThermalTake unveiled they will show off their new generation of Toughpower XT power supplies at CES 2009 in January. These new PSUs feature high-quality Japanese caps, extended cooling functions and 80PLUS Silver power efficiency.

The new ThermalTake Toughpower XT units are available in 650W, 750W, 850W, 1000W and 1200W variants, and there are also a couple of models without modular cables. More info at TT.

Here's a look at the features of the Toughpower XT 1200W:
  • High quality Japanese made capacitors: provide superb performance and reliability
  • S.P.Tindicator: indicates standby, PG signal and temperature status of the power supply.
  • FanDelayCool: FDC cooling function can be selected to adjust the amount of time the cooling fans keep running after system shutdown which effectively cools down parts and hardware inside the PSU and PC case.
  • 12in2 rail : provides superior performance(1000W & 1200W:60A for 12V1&12V2).
  • Meets 80 PLUS Silver efficiency requirement: Eco-design for less heat and lower energy bills.
