NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 also expected at CES 2009

VR Zone claims NVIDIA will launch two new graphics cards on January 8th, 2009 at CES: the GeForce GTX 295 and GeForce GTX 285.

Both cards feature 55nm GPUs and VR Zone partly confirms the GTX 295 specifications Expreview unveiled today. While the GeForce GTX 295 is a dual-GPU card with two 55nm GT200 GPUs, the GeForce GTX 285 will be a 55nm replacement of the GeForce GTX 280.
According to the official data VR-Zone has seen, GeForce GTX 295 card has dual 55nm GT200 GPUs and 1792MB GDDR3 memories on 896-bit memory interface. The rest of the specs like number of shader processors and clocks speeds are listed as TBA. As for GeForce GTX 285, it is a replacement for the current GeForce GTX 280 card with a 55nm GT200 GPU with higher clocks.
The site also reports NVIDIA released design kits of the GeForce GTX 260 to graphics card makers, self-designed cards are expected in Q1 2009. The current GeForce GTX 280 cards will reach EOL (end-of-life) next month.
