Both models will have the display mounted on a swivel which will allow you to use them in tablet mode, much like the Gigabyte M912. We don't have any details on what the new models will look like, so we'll just have to wait and see what shows up at CES.
Asus said that they're working on a range of in-house applications to take advantage of the touch screen, such as free hand drawing, photo editing and various multimedia playback applications. Both models will still feature Windows XP Home, so it's unclear if there will be any support for tablet PC style applications or not.
