Posted on Thursday, January 08 2009 @ 14:52:12 CET by

Also new from Point of View is their GeForce GTX 285 card:
Our second killer; the GTX285, has one GPU with 240 Shader processors. The GPU itself runs on 648 MHz and has Shader clock of 1476 MHz. Furthermore there is 1024MB of DDR3 on board with is running through a 512 bit memory bus at a massive speed of 2484 MHz. Also this one supports SLI with up to three graphics cards, which will offer even more performance.

Last but not least, the GTX295 has been equipped with two dual-link DVI ports and one HDMI port. With this you can connect up to screens with resolutions up to 2560x1600 and feed your TV with 1080p signal! The GTX285 has to work with only two DVI Ports but is delivered with a DVI to HDMI adapter.
