Blaupunkt was showing off its miRoamer-powered Internet car radios at CES 2009, there was the TravelPilot New Jersey 600i double-DIN and also the single-DIN sized Hamburg. These car radios can connect to a cell phone over Bluetooth to access the Internet, they use the miRoamer service to access tens of thousands of web radios. The German electronics maker estimates this will consume about 2GB of data a month if you're an average user, so you better get a good data plan. Besides Internet radio, the unit also features AM/FM, CD and MP3 support.
The "New Jersey" unit will arrive in the second half of the year for $399.
