CeBIT hit by tough economy

There were fewer people and exhibitor's at CES in Las Vegas earlier this month and FUD Zilla reports CeBIT will face the same problem in this though economy.
You can easily expect fewer exhibitors at the show, especially from graphics and motherboard sectors, whereas the business IT guys should show up in big numbers.

Everyone from the IT sector is getting ready for a tough year, but 2009 is the year of saving money and making smart investments and even tradeshows will feel it. At CES, many companies saved a lot of money by booking a suite at some hotel, while the Cebit tradeshow area is so big that it would take you hours to get from the tradeshow to a nearby hotel.
