NVIDIA announced the first computers based on its Ion platform will arrive by late Q2 2009 or early Q3 2009. NVIDIA declined to provide further details, but word is going around that Apple may release a new Mac mini based on the NVIDIA Ion platform in March.
Market rumors have suggested Apple is the most likely candidate to get onboard with Ion, but these are unconfirmed as yet.

In order to try and drum up support for Ion, Nvidia has suggested consumers contact their favorite PC vendors asking them when, or if, they plan to release Ion-based products.
