The Taiwanese edition of Tom's Hardware has published a first look at the AMD Phenom II 910 AM3 processor on the Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard. The article is in Chinese but the screenshots and benchmark results are universal, you can check it out over here.

The site provided some overclocking results (from 2.6GHz to 3.12GHz) but there's no comparison with AM2+ chips. It's mainly an early look at the performance of the AM3 chip and the Gigabyte motherboard, especially because the site used DDR3 with slow latencies so its not fair to compare it against a good DDR2 based system. Furthermore, the site also mentions the hardware they used wasn't final, BIOS updates should enhance the performance a bit.
