DigiTimes reports Asustek is planning to reduce its stockpiled inventory by 25-30 percent.
Asustek Computer plans to reduce its current stockpiled inventory, worth around NT$40-45 billion (US$1.18-1.33 billion), to NT$30-35 billion before the end of the first quarter this year, according to a Chinese-language Apply Daily report.

Asustek's LCD monitor inventory at the end of last year was worth around NT$6 billion. The company estimated this would cause losses of around 20%, equivalent to NT$1.2 billion, for the fourth quarter last year due to depreciation, the paper noted.
