It's unlikely that we'll see any performance gains outside of this, although anything is possible as they say.
Even when Intel gets the GN40 chipset out, Nvidia should still have a superior platform, as Rene Haas said that the Geforce 9400M offers five times the performance compared to the GN40 using a Core 2 based mobile processor. It seems like Nvidia is very proud over what it has accomplished and is not shy when it comes to saying how bad Intel's chipsets for the Atom platform are.
