DigiTimes reports AMD is pushing the Yukon platform into the low-cost all-in-one PC market. This platform was launched for low-cost ultrathin notebooks but is now finding its way into all-in-one systems like the new BenQ nScreen series.
AMD has began to push its Yukon platform into the low-cost all-in-one PC market giving vendors the opportunity to differentiate themselves in the (currently Intel Atom dominated) market by offering richer multimedia performance, and more freedom in system design, according to company representatives.

One of the advantages of the Yukon platform is that AMD does not place limits on a vendor's choice of system specifications, such as panel size, expansion slots or memory capacities, the representatives pointed out.
