Intel: Global notebook market to double from 2005-2008

The global notebook market is expected to double from 2005-2008, buoyed by replacement demand from mature markets and increasing demand from emerging markets, stated Anand Chandrasekher, vice president and general manager of the Intel Mobile Platforms Group, speaking in Taipei yesterday.
