LCD panel makers ramping up 11.6-inch production

Market sources told DigiTimes that LCD panel makers are gearing up for production of 11.6" LCD displays.

These panels have a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and will be used by firms like Acer and Asustek for 11.6" netbooks.

The site says netbook vendors will differentiate between their 10.1" and 11.6" models with clear boundaries in price and functionality.
