Posted on Tuesday, March 03 2009 @ 20:40:23 CET by

PC Games Hardware attended a press conference from Intel at CeBIT and noticed the dual-core four-thread Arrandale processor will be released in the last quarter of the year. This is the first time Intel talked about the Arrandale.
This Dualcore processor with four threads (via Hyperthreading) which is possibly based on the 32nm Westmere with a graphics unit on the same package but in a separate Die is supposed to be released in the second half of 2009 - parallel to the already known Clarksdale.
