Seasonic X-series has 90 percent efficiency at 50% load

Seasonic is showing off X-series power supplies at CeBIT, these new models have a 80 PLUS Gold certification. This means these units have an efficiency of at least 87 percent at 20 percent load, and 90 percent efficiency at 50 percent load. These units will be released at Computex in June, there will be 550W, 650W and 750W models.

Seasonic, being both an OEM and retail manufacturer, has three current PSUs with the coveted Gold certification, and the latest does so in spite of the the slight handicap imposed by using modular connectors.
