The Conduit will use Wii Speak, no MotionPlus

Upcoming Wii shooter The Conduit from High Voltage Software will not support the MotionPlus addon for the Wiimote, instead the game will use Wii Speak so players can communicate with each other during online multiplayer.
"Not Wii MotionPlus," Nofsinger said when asked whether The Conduit would incorporate the forthcoming add-on, which will give the Wii remote more accurate motion controls. Curiously, Nofsinger qualified his remark by adding, "not for this version." Could this mean some sort of special edition version might be released later on with MotionPlus functionality added in? Or was he referring to an eventual sequel High Voltage hopes to make down the road? Or maybe we're just reading way too much into this?
