Intel cooperates with Compal and SiS for Chinese whitebox notebooks

DigiTimes reports Intel is collaborating with Compal and SiS to debut 12" and 14" whitebox notebooks in China:
The planned notebooks will target consumers who have no experience in using computers and will have a price slightly higher than those of local China makers. Monthly shipments are expected to reach 30,000 units in the second quarter this year, added the paper.
