AMD Phenom II X4 955 sample overclocked from 3.2GHz to 4GHz

XtremeSystems forum member Dumo got his hands on a sample of the upcoming AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor, this 125W TDP part has a clockspeed of 3.2GHz. By increasing the voltage from 1.25V to 1.45, the overclocked got the chip to 4GHz on air cooling.

The test system consisted of an ASUS M4A79T Deluxe motherboard, 2GB DDR3 memory clocked at 1666MHz and the Windows 7 Beta operating system.
