Dell CEO negotiating lower prices in Taiwan?

DigiTimes claims Dell CEO Michael Dell is in Taiwan to try to negotiate lower prices with OEM/ODM partners:
The sources at Taiwan-based notebook ODMs believe Michael Dell's visit is to strengthen the company's relationships with Taiwan ODMs.

However, the sources also raised concerns that Dell might strategically use price competition between Taiwan notebook ODMs to reduce its costs.
