Sources at notebook makers told DigiTimes that the mainstream size of Intel CULV platform based notebooks will be 13.3". The report also claims HP, Acer, Dell and others are considering to launch 15.6" ultraportable CULV notebooks in August.
There are three major panel sizes are suitable for the ultra-thin notebook segment's 11- to 13-inch definition - 11.6-inch, 12-inch and 13.3-inch.

Several China white-box netbook makers are expected to lose out their preferential pricing from Intel to produce 11.6-inch Atom-based netbooks, and there is limited supply of makers producing 12-inch panels, so the 13.3-inch segment is expected to be the initially pushed segment, the sources explained.
