ATI Radeon HD 4890 to debut for 239EUR?

Posted on Friday, March 27 2009 @ 14:06:11 CET by

Next month ATI will introduce the Radeon HD 4890 (RV790), this faster version of the RV770 may launch at 239EUR, according to a report by FUD Zilla.
Furthermore, it is expected that GTX 275 product might end up faster than two, but at the same time people who are selling both Nvidia and ATI believe that Nvidia’s GTX 275 will be a PR product and rather hard to come by, and it is quite clear that GTX 275 will be more expensive of two.

Radeon HD 4890 will probably boost ATI’s performance sales, as it will end up better than Radeon HD 4870 products. The plan is to get Nvidia more competitive against GTX 260 parts 55nm with 216 shader parts.
US pricing is unknown.
