Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia today announced it is sampling a new 128Mbit mobile Fast Cycle RAM (FCRAM) device, which the company claims is the first 128Mbit PSRAM in the world to adopt a 32-bit address/data multiplexed bus. The new device is designed for 3G mobile-phone applications that require high-performance, high-density memory, with minimal power consumption. It is compliant with the Common Specifications for Mobile RAM (COSMORAM) Revision 3 and is expected to enter mass production next year.
