Last month Microsoft unveiled a PC ad that starred Lauren, a woman looking for a 17" notebook under $1,000, and this week the software giant has an ad with Giampaolo. He's supposedly a tech savvy guy looking for a $1,500 laptop that's up to his standards.
Just like in the previous Laptop Hunters ad, this clip throws some punches at Apple's Mac computers. Giampaola says that while Mac notebooks are indeed very sexy, they are about aesthetics rather than computing power, he doesn't want to pay extra for the brand. After walking out of the store with a HP Pavilion HDX, the ad ends with the actor saying "I'm a PC, because I'm really picky", referencing to the much broader choice of hardware and customization offered by PCs.
