MSI has introduced a new lineup of Radeon HD 4650 and Radeon HD 4670 graphics cards with HDMI support.
Entire MSI R4600 series with HDMI output
The MSI R4600 HDMI series has a native HDMI output for a direct connection with HD TVs, monitors and projectors. Supporting full HD at a resolution of 1920x1080, this card takes care of great colours and images. The 7.1 sound channels support a great entertainment system with total surround sound. The MSI R4600 HDMI series also supports Unified Video Decoder (UVD) 2.0, which off-loads the CPU in decoding the digital stream, which helps to save power and preventing lag.

Improving quality: Hi-c CAP
MSI’s R4600 HDMI series implements the next level of high-performing caps, Hi-c CAP. Hi-c CAP’s are the next generation solid caps which improves the life-span of their predecessors at the same temperature. This trait creates an even more stable environment for the GPU and expands the lifespan of the card.

SSC (Solid State Choke)
The MSI R4600 HDMI series power connector module uses the latest solid state chokes (SSC). SSC’s not only help to extend the lifespan of the card and increase stability, they also help prevent high electrical frequencies from creating a buzz noise.

Power saving multimedia system
Aside from full series HDMI support, Hi-c CAP’s, and SSC design, the MSI R4600 HDMI series keeps its total power use to a maximum of 75W and does not require an extra PCI-E 12v power supply. It is made to fit almost any PSU, including those with low-voltage power supplies. Additionally, the high-performance cooling pipe system has a slim design that won’t infringe on other PCI-E/PCI space.
