OCZ Vertex EX SLC solid state disks unveiled

OCZ has introduced the Vertex EX 2.5" SSD, this SLC NAND flash memory based disk is aimed at enterprises. It has the Indilinx Barefoot controller and and 64MB onboard cache. You can get the OCZ Vertex EX in 60GB and 120GB capacities.

The 60GB SSD has read speeds of up to 260MB/s, write speeds of up to 200MB/s and sustained write speeds of up to 100MB/s, while the 120GB version has a slightly higher write speed of up to 210MB/s.
