Intel to debut three Clarksfield processors this year

Intel is planning to debut the Calpella notebook platform in the third quarter of this year, but DigiTimes heard there will be only three new Clarksfield processor to accompany the new platform in 2009:
The Core 2 Extreme XE, Core 2 Quad P2 and Core 2 Quad P1, will be priced at US$1,054, US$546 and US$364 in thousand-unit tray quantities, the sources revealed.

Intel will wait until the first quarter of 2010 to launch 32nm dual-core processors (Arrandale), the sources added.
