Sources at Microsoft Taiwan told DigiTimes that the penetration rate of Windows 7 is expected to be much higher than that of Windows Vista in the business sector. It took Windows Vista Business two years to achieve a penetration rate of 20-25 percent, and Windows 7 is expected to do significantly better.
The timely release of Windows 7 RC suggests that Microsoft may release the final version of the OS earlier than scheduled, the Chinese-language Commercial Times quoted Acer chairman JT Wang as indicating.

The Windows 7 is expected to ignite a wave of replacement in PCs in the fourth quarter of this year thanks to Windows 7's user friendly interface and the OS's low requirements for hardware upgrades, Wang was quoted as saying.
